Belated happy birthday to Audrey Hepburn!
So much feels for this movie and Humphrey Bogart (it’s all in the family :3), but Charade still remains my indisputable favorite.
My Fair Lady, Funny Face, Roman Holiday, Sabrina, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s each has a special place in my heart. The rest of her films have a special soon-to-see alcove in my hard drive.

In an effort to get people to look
into each other’s eyes more,
and also to appease the mutes,
the government has decided
to allot each person exactly one hundred
and sixty-seven words, per day.
When the phone rings, I put it to my ear
without saying hello. In the restaurant
I point at chicken noodle soup.
I am adjusting well to the new way.
Late at night, I call my long distance lover,
proudly say I only used fifty-nine today.
I saved the rest for you.
When she doesn’t respond,
I know she’s used up all her words,
so I slowly whisper I love you
thirty-two and a third times.
After that, we just sit on the line
and listen to each other breathe.

I’ve been to a few other concerts before - Mandy Moore, Simple Plan, Avril Lavigne, Ne-Yo, Fall Out Boys, Katy Perry, etc. - but this was really one of the best nights of my life. And even after reliving the experience on blu-ray, given the chance, I would still go back to that arena and watch Taylor sing again and again and again.
I really would.
You take a deep breath and you walk through the doors
It’s the morning of your very first day
And you say hi to your friends you ain’t seen in a while
Try and stay out of everybody’s way
It’s your freshman year and you’re gonna be here
For the next four years in this town
Hoping one of those senior boys will wink at you and say
“You know, I haven’t seen you around before”
‘Cause when you’re fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You’re gonna believe them
And when you’re fifteen feeling like there’s nothing to figure out
Well, count to ten, take it in
This is life before you know who you’re gonna be
Fifteen
You sit in class next to a redhead named Abigail
And soon enough you’re best friends
Laughing at the other girls who think they’re so cool
We’ll be outta here as soon as we can
And then you’re on your very first date and he’s got a car
And you’re feeling like flying
And you’re momma’s waiting up and you’re thinking he’s the one
And you’re dancing ‘round your room when the night ends
When the night ends
‘Cause when you’re fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You’re gonna believe them
When you’re fifteen and your first kiss
Makes your head spin ‘round
But in your life you’ll do things greater than
Dating the boy on the football team
But I didn’t know it at fifteen
When all you wanted was to be wanted
Wish you could go back and tell yourself what you know now
Back then I swore I was gonna marry him someday
But I realized some bigger dreams of mine
And Abigail gave everything she had to a boy
Who changed his mind and we both cried
‘Cause when you’re fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You’re gonna believe them
And when you’re fifteen, don’t forget to look before you fall
I’ve found time can heal most anything
And you just might find who you’re supposed to be
I didn’t know who I was supposed to be at fifteen
Your very first day
Take a deep breath girl
Take a deep breath as you walk through the doors
In which John Nash begins to think he is a 19th century fictional inspector.
This post being 10x more relevant because I just watched Russell Crowe (^ John Nash) in A Beautiful Mind some days ago and finished reading LesMis (^ 24601, Javert) some hours ago.
And can I just add: HOMG ayoko talaga si Amanda Seyfried for Cosette. (http://www.justjared.com/2012/04/20/amanda-seyfried-as-cosette-in-les-miserables-first-look/)

I really should be living in an earlier and more beautiful time than today.
